SongFlow ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and disclosed by SongFlow.

1. Information We Collect

SongFlow is designed to be a local-first application with optional cloud features.

• Local Data: Your songs, setlists, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
• Audio Files: Audio files you import are stored on your device.
• Media Permissions: We request access to your device's storage and audio inputs (microphone/line-in) solely to:
  • Read audio files you select for playback.
  • Real-time Tuning: Analyze audio frequencies for the high-precision Tuner feature. This audio is processed in real-time and is NEVER recorded or stored on our servers.
  • Looper Recording: Allow you to record audio loops locally on your device.
  • Detect audio devices for input routing (if applicable).
  • Save exported files (like backups or PDFs) to your device.

2. Cloud Features (Optional)

If you choose to use AI generation or Cloud Sync features:

• AI Fragments: When you use the "Artist Repertoire" or AI features, small text fragments (song titles, artists) may be sent to third-party AI providers (e.g., Google Gemini) to generate responses. No personal audio or identifiable user data is sent.
• Firebase: We use Google Firebase for authentication and optional cloud database features. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for how they handle data.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your local content with third parties unless explicitly initiated by you (e.g., exporting a file).

4. Children's Privacy

SongFlow is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
